DDK currently has offices in the Time Square South section of mid-town Manhattan.

At DDK, many of the attorneys have technical backgrounds, which enables us to understand our clients' proprietary technologies and to assist our clients in understanding what exactly it is about their technology that separates their company from their competitors. For example, with respect to pharmaceuticals, DDK currently boasts a total of eight pharmacists on staff with understanding of drug delivery technologies, (pharmaceutics), pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, biologicals, biotechnology, etc., as well as attorneys with chemical and biological degrees. Other DDK attorneys have software, electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering degrees. It is our experience that if this on-going relationship is not maintained, quite often the patent protection falls short of its goals. At DDK, we have offices to service our clients' needs with respect to United States intellectual property law in New York City. Through our global associations with law firms and intellectual property agents outside the United States, we are able to provide our clients with legal assistance and guidance with respect to their intellectual property needs world-wide. Many of our attorneys are bi-lingual or multi-lingual. Our foreign language capabilities include German, Spanish, Hebrew, with some capabilities in Russian, Polish and French. Due to our on-staff language capabilities, we find it easier to break down the barriers that are sometimes created through the use of technical language in obtaining patent, trademark and copyright protection for our clients in foreign countries. Obviously, it also allows us to interact with our international clients in their language in many cases as well.
