Benjamin S. DiMarco, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Rutgers College of Pharmacy in 1996 and his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University Law School in Camden in 2001. He is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and The United States Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey. Mr. DiMarco is also a Registered Pharmacist in New Jersey. Mr. DiMarco is a member of the New York State Bar Association. While at Rutgers College of Pharmacy, Mr. DiMarco worked as a research extern at Johnson and Johnson's Drug Information Department. Mr. DiMarco also coordinated the National Pharmaceutical Patient Counseling Competition at Rutgers in 1995 and 1996. Mr. DiMarco has pharmacy experience with major corporations in retail and industrial pharmacy settings. Prior to beginning his legal career as a law clerk with DDK, he worked in the Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls Department of a global pharmaceutical company. Mr. DiMarco has lectured on numerous health care topics and volunteered as an advisor to a support group in Newark, N.J. for patients living with AIDS. Mr. DiMarco's legal experience includes prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in the areas of pharmaceutical formulations, medical chemistry, medical devices and mechanical inventions and preparing opinions on validity, infringement, freedom to operate, and due diligence of intellectual property involved in mergers and acquisitions in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. DiMarco also has experience in Hatch-Waxman litigation. |
